Takamaka rums are created at the Trois Frères distillery on the beautiful island of Mahé in the Seychelles. Takamaka Pti Lakaz rum has been bottled at 45.1% without coloring, sugar, or chill filtration. Takamaka Pti Lakaz is part of the distillery’s St Andre series and comprises pot-distilled cane rum, aka rhum agricole, some of which is aged in port casks, blended with 3-year-old pot and column-distilled molasses rum, and an 8-year-old Bajan rum from the Foursquare distillery. This should be splendid stuff.
