Kilchoman 100% Islay 12th Edition 70cl<\/h2>\n

The 12th edition of Kilchoman’s much-loved 100% Islay single malt is a batch of 35 casks, six of which were Oloroso sherry butts, with the remainder being ex-bourbon barrels.<\/p>\n

Made entirely with locally-grown barley harvested from 2011-2013 and peated to 20ppm, this Kilchoman 100% Islay has a minimum age of 8 years old and was bottled at 50% without colouring or chill filtration-and as ever, this is a limited edition and won’t be around for too long.<\/p>\n

Official Tasting Notes:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Nose: Elegant, sweet peat smoke, followed by waves of citrus and honey, finishing with notes of vanilla and salted caramel.\u00a0<\/strong>

Palate:<\/strong> A Bourbon-driven 100% Islay brings an initial malt-driven profile followed by green fruits, such as apple and pear. Light spice, raisin and toffee are present towards the finish.<\/p>\n

Finish:<\/strong> Peat smoke returns and remains on the palette. The oily texture of this 100% Islay allows for a creamy profile balanced with toffee and caramelised sugar.<\/p>\n
