The 2022 release of Macallan Classic Cut has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and American oak ex-sherry casks, creating a fruity, gingery character. Aromas of grapefruit, peach, apple, and orange fill the nose, complemented by notes of fresh fruit, caramel, chocolate, lemon sponge, nuts, oak, and light spice throughout the palate.
