Bladnoch Alinta was added to the distillery’s Classic Collection range in 2022 and is notable for being that most unusual of animals –  a peated Lowland single malt whisky, bottled at 47% without colouring or chill filtration.

Like its unpeated stablemate Bladnoch Vinaya, this Bladnoch Alinta has been matured in first fill ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks – with the sherry element being from Pedro Ximenez casks in this case, ensuring plenty of sweet fruitcake notes to interplay with the phenolic elements.

Official Tasting Notes

Colour: Copper

Nose: Smoky ice cream, delicate floral with sweet oak.

Palate: Campfire smoke, almonds, raisins with a white chocolate body.

Finish: Long with a sweet smoke.
