SMWS 116.17 (Yoichi) 1987 25 Year Old

SMWS 116.17, a stunning 25-year-old Yoichi, bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. The expression was distilled on March 20th, 1987, and spent 25 years maturing in a virgin oak barrel. Just 485 bottles were filled at 59.2% ABV.

On the nose, there is thick toffee, sandalwood, and boiled sweets. The palate brings vanilla, honey, and cinnamon sugar before leading into the sweet and satisfying finish.
