Admiral Rodney 2009 is the second of the company’s Officer’s Releases, a very special molasses-based continuous-distilled St Lucian Rum bottled at 45%.

Admiral Rodney’s 2009 Officer’s Release No. 2 started its maturation in ex-bourbon wood before being finished for 9 months in casks that were formerly home to Irish whiskey-which isn’t something you see every day. Irish whiskey is well-known to be particularly amenable to rum cask finishing, so we can’t wait to discover how it works the other way round.
