East London Liquor Company, London Rye whiskey

This is the 2020 edition of the East London Liquor Co. London Rye. This London rye is made with a combination of 42% malted rye and 58% malted barley.

A combination of double-pot and column distillation occurs before ageing in various casks such as virgin French oak, chestnut, STR sherry, and bourbon casks.

Tasting notes on this one vary from candied orange peel, sour cherry candies, toffee apples, chilli peppers, and even one ‘desk drawer, but in a good way’. What we can all agree on is that we think this one’s delicious, however it’s served.
