Camus Extra Elegance Cognac 70cl
Maison Camus was originally conceived in 1863 by Jean-Baptiste Camus when he created the La Grande Marque, which was a group of brandy producers. In 1866, this evolved into the founding of Maison Camus itself, achieving complete control and ownership. It has had 5 successive generations of Camus family ownership.
Camus Elegance cognacs are based upon the Borderies eau-de-vie spirit before aging—”the smallest cru in the appellation and one that is close to the heart of Maison Camus.” The Extra Elegance is their high-end, premium expression blending eau-de-vie from both the Borderies, Grande Champagne, and Petite Champagne regions. They regard it as rich and sophisticated, designed for the most demanding of cognac connoisseurs.
After a long aging in Camus’ humid cellars, it obtains an extra elegance to reveal all its quality: an exceptional palate, intense flavors, and an extremely complex finish.
Amber color with brown is very elegant and striking. Its flavor is delicious, combining the sweetness of fruity and savory spices. The drink has a multi-layered fragrance that reflects a powerful cascade of floral notes, roast tones, snuff, and nutty nuances.
