Hampden Estate 4 Year Old HLCF Classic Overproof Rum

A high-ester Hampden Estate Jamaican rum, HLCF stands for Hampden Light Continental Flavoured, one of many distillate styles made at the Hampden Estate distillery, where rum has been made since 1753.

Hampden HLCF Classic Overproof is a four-year-old pot-distilled rum bottled at 60% without any added sugar or colourings.

Hampden’s HLCF Classic Overproof rum has a high ester content of around 400-600 gr/hlpa; for this release, the ester content is 476 gr/hlpa, in no small part due to the long wild yeast fermentations practised at the distillery.
