Aberlour 31 years old, is a limited edition bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company in 2022 to celebrate the company’s 10th anniversary.
This TBWC 10th Anniversary Aberlour 31-year-old was from a single barrel that yielded 278 half-liter (50cl) bottles at 47.9%, and given the circumstances, we’d expect something pretty special here.
Batch 10 is a release of 224 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries, as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Tasting Note
Nose: Bursting with ripe orchard fruits, as well as brown sugar and citrus zest.
Palate: A dash of oaky spice and a lick of licorice join all those fresh apples, nectarines, and bananas.
Finish: rewardingly long and fruity.
