A 20-year-old Dumbarton 2000 single grain whisky, bottled in 2021 by indie favourites Dram Mor. Dumbarton was closed in 2002, so this is from one of the last vintages produced at the distillery.
This Dumbarton 2000 20-year-old came from a single refill hogshead Cask 211894 and was bottled without colouring or chill filtration at its natural cask strength of 52%, yielding a total of 306 bottles.
Official Tasting Notes
Colour: Golden syrup.
Nose: Charred vanilla meets dungarees mustiness with roast banana and a faint sweet note.
Palate: Creme brûlée, boiled sweets, dried apricots and gentle cinnamon drops.
Finish: Medium length with delicate yellow fruit warmth mingles with subtle spices.
