Elixir Distillers Slay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Bottled in 2022, Elements of Islay’s CL14 is a marriage of 2012 and 2013 Caol Ila matured in Oloroso sherry butts with one 2015 American oak hogshead for balance and youthful verve.
Elements of Islay’s Caol Ilas are consistently excellent, and CL14’s mouthwatering natural colour suggests the sherry casks have had plenty of influence-this will be a half-litre of smoky, sherried heaven.
