Glenallachie 8 Year Old
Glenallachie 8 Year Old a bold expression of the Glenallachie distillery’s character. This richly textured malt was matured in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons, along with a small proportion of virgin oak casks and red wine barrels. Heather honey and ginger nuts sit alongside toasted almonds and baking spices on the palate.
The Glenallachie 8-year-old has been bottled at an easy-drinking 46%, and as you’d expect from a Billy Walker distillery, it’s been bottled without colouring or chill filtration. A great entry-level Speyside whisky from one of Scotland’s fastest-rising distilleries.
