Macallan Litha Single Malt Whisky

Macallan Litha was released in 2023 for the Chinese market. Litha means light, and it was the name that the Celts gave to the summer solstice. An incomparable whisky exclusively matured in first-fill sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. This rare Macallan Litha represents the coming together of two worlds, Scotland and Spain, to create an incomparable single malt whisky.

Tasting Notes

Nose: butterscotch, vanilla, and chocolate with citrus and tropical fruits.

Taste: vanilla ice cream topped with a berry compote, toasted oak, warming wood spice, salted caramel, and pecans.

Finish: medium with fruits, vanilla, and oak.
