Released in 2022, this is Batch #2 of Filey Bay Peated Finish English single malt whisky from the excellent Spirit of Yorkshire distillery. The first batch of Filey Bay Peated Finish was a huge hit, so we’re delighted to have got our hands on some of this.

This Filey Bay Peated Finish was assembled from a small batch of ex-bourbon casks that were originally filled in 2018, before being re-racked into casks that previously held a peated Scotch whisky for a brief but meaningful secondary maturation, and is said to be slightly smokier than Batch #1.

Light, fresh and coastal with flavours of caramel, peat smoke and citrus.
