Chichibu London Edition 2025 Release

The eighth release in this much-celebrated series, Ichiro’s Malt Chichibu The London Edition 2025 is a masterful Japanese single malt created exclusively for the UK market.

This limited-edition bottling is composed of ten carefully selected casks, including two casks of heavily peated spirit. The whisky was primarily matured in ex-bourbon barrels, contributing soft sweetness and bright fruit character, alongside two Oloroso sherry casks, which bring layers of dried fruit and warming spice.

At 50.5% ABV, the whisky opens with aromas of mandarin and ginger, lifted by creamy vanilla custard and a gentle wisp of smoke. The palate delivers a harmonious blend of candied citrus, dark chocolate, and brown sugar, leading to a long, refined finish rich with dried fruits and baking spices.
