Gold Spot was released to celebrate the 135th anniversary of the Mitchell family. Matured for at least nine years, Gold Spot is crafted using the brand’s signature method of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks, then blended with hand-selected Bordeaux wine casks and port pipes from Portugal’s Douro Valley (a first for the brand). This blend of casks creates a dram bursting with flavors of lush fruits, vanilla, and wood spices.

Tasting Notes

Nose: A light mix of pineapple, kiwi, green banana, and lime zest, followed by Pot Still spices, baked apple, hazelnut, and toasted wood.
