Down, Northern Ireland, has a spanking new £15 million distilling facility, including warehouses full of £5 million of sourced maturing casks from other Irish whiskey distilleries. While they await the maturation of their own spirit, Hinch is releasing a carefully curated range of this sourced whiskey.
Hinch Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey has been matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks and has been bottled at 43%.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Herbaceous and biscuit aromas with a distinct zesty note.
Taste: Pronounced Tart and fruit flavours with a beautiful spice undercurrent.
Finish: Sherry notes.
