Cask 56400 of Laphroaig 2011 was an unspecified ‘oak cask’, presumably second or third refill and thus perfect to let the Laphroaig distillery character shine. This 10-year-old Laphroaig 2011 has been bottled without colouring or chill filtration by Duncan Taylor, yielding 172 bottles at its natural cask strength of 53.4%, and it should be a corker.
