The Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
is bottled by The Alistair Walker Whisky Company 70cl (58.6%)
Alistair Walker Whisky Co. bottled a 2009 Miltonduff 12-year-old single cask Speyside malt whisky without coloring or chill filtration in 2022 for their Infrequent Flyers range at its natural cask strength of 58.6%.
Infrequent Flyers Cask 6342 was a Sauternes cask in which this Miltonduff 2009 spent the final period of its 12 years of maturation, and although the exact length of time it spent finishing in the Sauternes cask isn’t specified, it was clearly long enough to have plenty of impact.
Official Tasting Notes:
The color is bright copper.
Nose: fruity and extremely sweet. steamed apricots and peaches. cantaloupe melon. chocolate and fudge mousse. toasted Muscovado sugar.
A very lively personality! Intensely fruity: stewed raisins, sultanas, and apricots. Marmalade toasted oak and some serious cracked black pepper in the finish.
