70cl/41.7%/83.4% Kentucky American WhiskeyDistillery Bottling
Technically, this cannot be called a bourbon due to the fact that it is not aged in virgin oak barrels. This, however, is aged in previously used bourbon-soaked white oak barrels. The results are fantastic, giving a rich, deep butterscotch and vanilla flavour.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: polished oak, buttery corn, and a kick of caraway spiciness.
Palate: Wonderfully creamy on the palate, boasting notes of butterscotch, golden syrup, and sultanas.
Finish: Corn appears again, with peach and apple alongside it.
