Bourbon Whiskey
The primary component in the barrel-aged American whiskey known as bourbon is maize. The French Bourbon dynasty is the origin for the name, however the exact source is unknown; candidates include Bourbon County in Kentucky and Bourbon Street in New Orleans, both of which bear the dynasty’s name.
