Cameronbridge 1991-2022 | 30 Year Old XOP Cask 70cl

Cameronbridge 30 Years Old 1991-2022

cameronbridge 30 year old, A single grain whisky bottled at cask strength without coloring or chill filtration by Douglas Laing for their XOP Extra Old Particular series.

This XOP Cameronbridge 1991 40-year-old spent its days in Cask DL15726, a refill hogshead that yielded a nice round 250 bottles at its natural strength of 49.6%. Cameronbridge’s whisky is most famous for being marketed in a fancy blue bottle as the dreary Haig Club; this cask strength 30-year-old will be an entirely different experience, rich and sweet and bursting with flavour.

Official Tasting Notes:

Nose: The nose is redolent of barley sugar, lightly burnt butterscotch, honey, and cereals.

The palate is sweet as expected, with red fruit jam plus later mixed spices.

Catch vanilla custard on the finish, with maple syrup, double cream, and a late gristy quality.
