Four Roses Limited Edition Small Batch 2025 Release

The Four Roses 2025 Limited Edition Small Batch marks the 18th release in the distillery’s much-celebrated annual series. This year’s expression is a blend of three bourbon recipes drawn from four hand-selected batches, aged between 13 and 19 years, and bottled at a bold 54.5% ABV.

For 2025, Master Distiller Brent Elliott has chosen a combination of 13-year-old OBSV (high-rye mash bill with the V yeast strain – the standard Four Roses Single Barrel recipe), 13-year-old OBSK (high-rye mash bill with the K yeast strain), 13-year-old OESV (lower-rye mash bill with the V yeast strain), and 19-year-old OESV bourbons – each contributing its own layer of flavour and finesse. The result is a beautifully balanced whiskey that reflects both maturity and the distinctive blending artistry Four Roses is known for.

On the nose, it opens with sweet apricot, vanilla, and caramel, followed by delicate hints of black tea, rye spice, and mellow oak. The palate is rich yet refined, offering ripe apricot, touches of citrus, creamy crème brûlée, and antique spiced oak that unfold with depth and warmth. The finish is long and graceful, echoing sweet fruit, gentle spice, and soft oak in perfect harmony.
